Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open News server 2. Watch status bar Actual Results: Status Bar doesn't change Expected Results: I would expect it to change to "Transferring" or "Working" or anything else but "Done".
Missed a critical piece of info from this bug report. When downloading newsgroup info (number of unread messages), the status bar does change. The problem is when it is contacting the server and hasn't received a response.
This is still happening on my 2002091604-TRUNK build.
This seems to be fixed. Marking WFM.
