Steps to reproduce:

scroll the list of accounts on the left

OS: Windows 8.1 64bits
Thunderbird 78.4.0 32bits

this happends only since the last automatique update

Actual results:

the list do not refresh, it become blue like the title bar (bottom of the image) or partialy displayed (top of the image).

the items are displayed only when the mouse move over them (when the hover style is updated I guess)

Expected results:

no display bug

Navigate to options > type in accel > uncheck "use acceleration" > restart thunderbird.
Does that help?

yes ! this fixes the problem, thanks.

FYI it's on a MSI GE70 with an nVidia GTX 660M

yes it is up to date...BTW there's also a Intel HD Graphics 4000 card...but I don't have the problem anymore even after enabling the option...has it clear some old settings ? I use Thunderbird since years on this PC.
