To reproduce the bug:

Edit|Preferences|Appearance|Fonts

Change a font (or size?) and hit OK.

Browse a bit... Mozilla will crash.

that code was recently fixed...

I'm observing the same problem (with the same stack) at Mozilla 1.0.1 on
Sun platform with a little different scenario:
New window->load URL chrome://communicator/content/pref/pref.xul->
preferences dialog is loaded at the window->
Appearance->Fonts->Change font size(or font)->Ok -> crash!!!

Usual scenario Edit->Preferences->etc... works fine.

For me, the crash happens immediately when OK is clicked to apply the new font size.

Did not happen immediately. I had just moved to mail window from browser and
pressed ctrl-M to compose new message. At the time I also had open two other
browser windows and chatzilla

change OS linux->ALL
