1676860 - Unresponsive, blue circle going round, no new emails

Steps to reproduce:

Noticed there were no new emails.

1. Clicked ‘Get Messges’.
2. Then tried to move a subfolder to Archives. Then tried to create the folder of the same name in Archives. Then transferred emails, instead.
   Version has just been updated (yesterday) to 78.4.3. No idea what Branch in the above dropdown list means but it wouldn’t let me submit without putting something so I’ve put 7 Branch because the aforementioned number begins with 7. No idea if that’s right, but past caring right now. The subjects of the bugs other people have listed mean nothing.

Actual results:

Nothing has happened.

1. No new emails.
2. The subfolder I tried to set up, did not show up. The emails I moved don’t show up in the Archives folder, but the number does, so I presume they are there. This problem has happened before.

I have quit and opened several times, but nothing changes. The blue circle is still turning in the Inbox tab and the 2 tone circle is also still turning when mouse is positioned over emails.

Expected results:

1. New emails should have been there automatically.
2. The email subfolder I tried to move should show up in the Archive folder.
   I tried to launch the Mac mail instead but that doesn’t work either. No emails show up at all, though each folder shows the number of emails.
   This account was set up through iPad because when it said the click on the link in the email, I couldn’t (obviously) do it on Thunderbird.
   I have not initiated another restart on my Mac because everything else is functioning normally.
   This is just incredibly frustrating.
