Steps to reproduce:

I started to enter an URL into the URL bar as the URL bar should be used, and to get to a site starting with G typed in G, pushed the down arrow and Enter

Actual results:

After entering G, a horrendously ugly magnifying glass popped up with the inscription "Search with Google directly from the address bar", and when I hit enter the address bar had "GOOGLE" in a blue box and started to behave as a search box which is plain ridiculous

Expected results:

Simply the fucking URL should have been loaded which was at the first place in my usual suggestions, and at least there should be a mode to fucking disable all retarded search functionality in the fucking URL bar. It is supposed to behave like a fucking URL bar. You put in an URL, and the browser resolves the URL, and that's is. No fucking search, no guessing, no fuckery.

Being able to disable tab-to-search results is something that Engineering could at least discuss with Product and UX. However, I don't think this bug will be useful for tracking that work given the angry tone of comment 0. You are free to file a new bug on this topic if you keep the tone respectful and constructive.
