User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.1) Gecko/20020826 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.1) Gecko/20020826 Although the signature is recognized and told to sign outgoing email in preferences, without having " manage certificates " loaded in the background, I could could not get the signature to work. It also applies to premade email templates as well. The only workaround I found is stated above. In addition, an error message pops up saying no digital signature found although I have asked to sign all outgoing email. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Explained above 2. 3. This problem also appears to have shown up in the previous two builds, and I have not seen it mentioned anywhere else.

I have just tried this with the 7.0 RTM build, and I cannot reproduce it on the win98 platform. Can you try to create a new profile and see if the problem still persists? It could be something has happened to your database. You don't by chance run mozilla and netscape at the same time do you?

Somewhere, the wires have been crossed. The bug described refers to Mozilla and not to Netscape 7.0. Please accept my apologies for any misdirection of reports on my part. I suppose I sent it to the wrong place and have not used the bug reporting system correctly. And no I am not sharing directories.

Does this problem still persist? I have tried the latest mozilla builds on win98 (20020930) and cannot reproduct the problem.

could this have to do with localization?

Marking this as works for me on the latest mozilla builds (20021021). If this is not the case, please reopen on your side. I cannot reproduce the problem on several different systems.
