User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/87.0.4280.66 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a temporary folder containing two messages. One message must have my email address in the "To" line. The other message must have my email address in the "Cc" line. (It doesn't matter what value is chosen for « my email address » as long as it is the same for both messages.)

2. Perform a search in that folder for « "To" "contains" my email address »

3. Perform a search in that folder for « "Cc" "contains" my email address »

Actual results:

Both messages are matched for step #2, when the search is "To" my email address. (Incorrect behaviour.)

Only one message is matched for step #3, when the search is "Cc" my email address. (Correct behaviour.)

Expected results:

Only one message should have been matched for step #2, « "To" "contains" my email address ». It should not have matched the case where my email address was found only on the "Cc" line.

This same problem occurs with Search Messages and Message Filters.

On 78.6.0, I was able to repro just like OP states in STR. Ditto for 85.0b2.

I would say the STR is like so:

1. Create a Test folder on your email account
2. Send two test messages to yourself from yourself:
   a. Send one from yourself to yourself using the TO: field
   b. Send one from yourself to yourself using the CC: field
3. Move those two new test messages from your Inbox to your Test folder
4. Perform a search in the Test folder for the email address in step 2 using "To" > "Contains" parameters

Yup. Tested with 110.0b4.
