It will also search the extra information, not just the message body text that you see. eg If you search for "X-Newsreader:" it will return nearly every message. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Hmmm... this sounds like an existing bug with Custom headers -- are you doing a "doesn't contain" kind of search on that header? I think we have a bug about it not verifying the header actually exists, so that if it doesn't find headerN it returns as if the header doesn't contain said string.
1. I'm not sure how this got in here without my steps tp reproduce. 2. I am no longer able to reproduce this. You can mark this as fixed as far as I am concerned.
Reporter, please resolve this bug as WORKSFORME. Thanks.
Just did a test of this against borland.public.delphi.language.objectpascal for "X-Newsreader:" and it DID return every message. This text does not show in any of the messages, however when you look in the mail file (borland.public.delphi.language.objectpascal) then it does contain this. I suppose my question is should we be allowing the users to search through the hidden messge information as well??
The 'hidden' info is there - why should we not be able to search it? recommen WORKSFORME
