On DSL, other browser(s) link easily. M 1.2a just installed, won't contact any site "xxxx not found" for any/all URLs.
Reporter, are you using a proxy-server ?

Do you use windows95 without IE ? Have you installed the winsock2 update for windows95a ? Do you use a firewall ?
No proxy, and there is a problem with IE...I believe it is not installed. I don't believe the winsock update has been installed. No firewall. Note that the NS 4.79 WORKS FINE. So winsock must be OK, no?
You must install the windows95 winsock update. No IE indicates that you are using Windows95a which need this update. http://www.microsoft.com/windows95/downloads/contents/WUAdminTools/S_WUNetworkingTools/W95Sockets2/Default.asp
any change after that ?
Winsock update made no difference.

Reporter: Is this bug still present in a current Mozilla build (with clean install)?
RESOLVED/Worksfor me. We don't really support Windows 95 anymore, but I've got a laptop that has Win 95, and runs fine on my DSL. Is this a system that NEVER worked w/ mozilla?
