When typing data in to search on and mistakingly hit enter, I get an error. When
I select to search on the data in the URL area, I still get an error.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Enter "some text" into the url area and hit enter.
2. You should get an invalid url/protocol error.
3. Now click on the url, hit down arrow twice, selecting "Search [Google]for
"some data"" entry from the list.
4. You will get the same protocol error as mentioned in step 2.
Actual Results:
I got the error, in error

Expected Results:
Performed the search as if I had typed it in, and hit down, down, (to search)
from the start - and not gotten an error.
