Steps to reproduce:

Enable "title bar" option in customize menu for the main window.
Or simply open "show all bookmarks" window or open the "about" box (really any Firefox window with a title bar)

Actual results:

There is a black box, where a window shadow would normally be. It interferes with split-screen mode in elementary OS, adding extra width to the window, or covering up parts of other windows with a solid black shadow.

Disabling "title bar" in customize menu remedies issue only for the main window, at the expense of interacting with a title bar to minimize easily. It does not remedy the issue for any other Firefox windows or dialog boxes.

Expected results:

There should be a non-obtrusive semitransparent shadow in it's place.

I'm sorry that this turned out to be a duplicate of Bug 1666839 .
I looked first, however had not seen Stransky's linked report!

Although installing and running Nightly was not directly obvious
(I'm newer still to Linux and terminal work is still hit or miss)
I can confirm that Nightly "85.0a1 (2020-12-14) (64-bit)" does indeed appear to remedy this graphical glitch.
