Details
In many builds, selecting text destroys the copy buffer. Selected text on Linux
should go into the X primary selection, and should not destroy the copy/paste buffer
This has been happening off and on for a couple months. It makes copying and
pasting alsmot useless for me, but ever time I go to post a bug about it,
suddenly I can no longer reproduce it in the latest nightly build (like todays,
linux trunk build 2002091205) But then a few days later, I download a new
nightly, and it is happening again.
I am posting this bug, but I intend to immediately mark it WORKSFORME. I will
re-open it if and when this bug re-appears. I just want it to exist in the
system in case other people are seeing this too.

marking fixed WORKSFORME, as I said. I will re-open if/when I find a build in
which I can consistently reproduce it again.
