So far, ever since updating to version 84 of firefox (stable 64-bit), I've encountered this error multiple times. I have since then ended up trying to set the flags security.ssl3.ecdhe_ecdsa_aes_256_sha and security.ssl3.ecdhe_ecdsa_aes_128_sha to false in an effort to fix it, yet this error persists. What research I did said if its not the setting I've done, its something on the website end that needs adjusting
is there an agreement on that, or is there a fix that can be done on the browser end? Also I did try using the support.mozilla.org place, but the damn thing keeps denying my account as if it doesnt exist, only if I reset my password every-time that I can "log in"

while I had this error, I also encountered an error for SSL_ERROR_MISSING_ESNI_EXTENSION. What research I did told me to head to about:config and look for network.trr.uri and reset its value back to default
I forget exactly the url it had in the beginning, nor what changed it before (a firefox update, maybe updating my GPO files for firefox changed something it shouldn't have, idk), but it was a false one so I reset it back to https://mozilla.cloudflare-dns.com/dns-query, and so far, not only have I not encountered the ssl extension error, but I haven't seen the cypher error yet. I'll give it more time and see if it pop's up again. If it does, what do I need to copy/paste here that will show what its messing up?
I guess this is resolved. After a week and some change of resetting that network.trr.uri value back to its default, I havent encountered this cypher overlap error nor the esni_extension error, not just because I also updated to the 84.0.1 bugfix release of firefox
Only other issue I got with firefox currently is this version 84 and 84.0.1 bugfix release is really damn slower than all past releases by a wide margin. when I go to some websites, they dont usually load in as instant as they did on a fiber optic connection, they take a few seconds to load anything. And when I try to view youtube videos, they take so long to load that I get a "a web page is slowing down firefox, close it?" message
Otherwise, go ahead and mark this bug as resolved, please and thank you

Are you still seeing this? If you file a new report and share a profile from the firefox profiler ( https://profiler.firefox.com/ ) , it's possible we could take a look - flag me for needinfo if you file one. :-)
