Has this previously worked and has stopped working recently?

Could you navigate to about:support and use one of the buttons there to copy the information onto this bug?

(In reply to Bryce Seager van Dyk (:bryce) from comment #3)

Has this previously worked and has stopped working recently?

Got prime about a week back. Hasn't been working since. Last time I tried was months back and it worked without problem. Can confirm it is a problem in nightly on windows too (Don't own windows machine. It was an acquaintance's computer)

I'm not able to reproduce this. To make sure I'm following the same steps to repro, when you close the video are you closing it using the Amazon interface, rather than closing the whole tab or window in Firefox?

Could you check that the same issue happens when using a fresh profile?

Okay, I tried a new profile, and it seemed to work fine. So I tried safe mode, and it seemed to work fine. I asked for the about:support data from the friend with windows pc to compare, and turns out it was an addon that was causing the problem (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/addon/disable-autoplay/) . I guess the issue can be closed. I will try contacting the author of the addon
