Cannot log into ebay after a successful captcha challenge

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:85.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/85.0
Steps to reproduce:
I attempted to log into my eBay account and was presented with the sliding Captcha challenge.
Actual results:
I successfully completed the Captcha challenge and was presented with the [RESEND][CANCEL] dialogue box. After clicking [RESEND] it normally proceeds to my account dashboard. Now, it just endlessly repeats the Captcha challenge. No matter how many times you successfully complete it and click [RESEND], it will just go back to the Captcha challenge again.
I used eBay just fine last week. I just updated from FF85.0b3 to 85.0b4 today. That's the only change.
Expected results:
After a successful Captcha completion, clicking [RESEND] should proceed to eBay account dashboard.

Hey Arthur,
I tried reproducing this issue on the latest versions of Firefox Nightly 86.0a1 (2020-12-27), beta 85.0b4 and release 84.0.1 but for me the login is going through without issues, though no captcha at login.
Can you test the issue while in Safe Mode? You can find helpful info here : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode .
Also a fresh new profile could help. You can find more about creating a new profile here : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-and-diagnose-firefox-problems#w_6-create-a-new-firefox-profile .
If possible, you can test this issue on the nightly build as well. Download the build from : https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/nightly/all/ .

I forgot to check this when I came back to work on the 4th but I am thinking it's ok. I updated to 85b8 since this bug report and feel that I have logged into eBay fine at work. Will double check on Wed and if it's ok will close as WFM.

I cannot get the Captcha challenge to come no matter what I do up BUT I noticed this article: https://community.ebay.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Problem-logging-in-due-to-recaptcha-loop/td-p/31471428
I am assuming this must have been an error on eBay's side since others are describing the exact same thing as me. I have not seen the Captcha come up at home or at work for a few weeks so I am guessing eBay took it offline to "fix" it?
For now, will close as WFM and if I get to that Captcha again and it fails, I'll try to get some error console info.
