User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:84.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/84.0
Steps to reproduce:
Since updating Thunderbird to v78 64-bit I have found that Thunderbird stops connecting to the IMAP server after restarting my PC each morning. I use the Windows Hibernation option rather than a full shut down. I have tried, as an alternative, selecting the sleep option in Windows with the same result. Closing Thunderbird and restartings brings the IMAP connection back to life.
The IMAP server in question is Gmail hosting a personal domain (ie Google Workspace/Apps)
Actual results:
Mail is not retrieved from the IMAP server after Thunderbird is opened following the PC being placed in hibernation or Sleep by Windows.
Expected results:
The IMAP connection should have resumed and mail collected as normal.

This is happening to me as well as of the last TB update (now on 78.10.0 (64-bit)
Windows 10 Pro 20H2; Bld 19042.928
Steps to reproduce are same as previous message. If a restart (after hibernation) is not performed, TB runs sluggishly and displays Not Responding when trying to access IMAP server. When this is occurring there doesn't appear to be anything anomalous being written to the *.moz_log file (set to level 5) based on time stamps. Is there another log I should be looking at/invoking?

Do you see this when using version 91?

I haven't been able to upgrade to version 91 yet. It is on my list of things to do but I will have some prep to get everything ready first.
Unfortunately it was a deal breaker for me and I've moved to another mail app.

Later updates seemed to have resolved this. Not sure with which version. Thanks for asking...
