RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 310853

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:84.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/84.0

Steps to reproduce:

I switch to the "All Future Dates" filter and write something in the "contains" field

Actual results:

I have 5 dates, starting with the same text, but only the earliest date get shown.

If I switch to "All dates of the current month" I see them.

Expected results:

I want to see my 5 similar dates which happen weekly.

The only shown date from today is not a repeating one.
But the other 4 dates are repeating ones.
Probably, because the first date of the repeating date is in the past.

At least it looks like its not showing repeating dates, if the first entry is in the past.

What version of Linux, desktop and Thunderbird?

This is known behavior. When the filter is set to "All Events" or "All Future Events" only the first occurrence of the repeating event is included in the results. And in your case the first occurrence of the repeating event is probably in the past and therefore you see nothing. Maybe someday some volunteer will work on Bug 310853 to change this behavior.

It's just weird, because "Current Month" works with a repeating event starting months ago last year.

And yes, that's definitely the problem.
