User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.16; rv:84.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/84.0
Steps to reproduce:
Just using Firefox, I have recently moved to OSX BigSur it maye have started then but also might have started after some changes in my keystore for work logins..
Actual results:
Firefox will intermittently ask for me to enter a PKCS#11 password. I don't use a hardware device to authenticate on my computer so I believe this in error.
Expected results:
No requests for PKCS#11 should be made.

If you remove the "Symantec Security Module", does that fix it?

Yes unloading it stops the pop-ups, Thanks.
We use a Symantec VPN but I don't think we use this to connect to sites with a cert and it doesn't work without vpn connection anyway...so I guess I can live without it.
Saw same issue on https://superuser.com/questions/1528821/how-can-i-determine-the-add-on-thats-causing-this-sketchy-pop-up-im-seeing-in
Yeah, that module shouldn't be necessary if you don't use client certificates.
