Gentlemen,

We have full duplex printing now available. When I added the command sequence to
take advantage of this, printing stopped.

Although I received messages from netscape that printing was taking place, the
job was never spooled.

The probelm apparently gets put into a file somewhere and becomes a permanent
comdition as I had to completely reboot my machine in order to restore printing.

The non duplex command line is:

lp -dprinter

For full duplex it becomes:

lp -o duplex -dprinter

Is this an HPUX issue or an HP Printer issue.
If this is NOT HPUX build problem then PLEASE change

On Linux I dont get locked out. I dont get the output but then I dont have
printer with duplex printing. I do not get locked out from printing. I think
this is a HP-UX problem only.

Waqar, I don't think this is an HP-UX issue.
I think it is an issue with an HP Printer...

Bruce, can you 'restate' what the env is?
Is it Windows?  Linux?  HP-UX?
What printer are you using?
