"Remove Account" doesn't do a complete job

Details
"Remove Account" doesn't clear the related entries in prefs.js. Educated guesses and a "white knuckle" save while editing prefs.js corrected the situation but not the problem. The problem is that older account entries get added -- not replaced -- with the same account name and identical data, where applicable, retained. That is, "account" remains and "account-1" is added to the prefs.js file but with "account" still as its username. Mozilla will not permit duplicate email account names in added accounts. (Does this make any sense?) Should one move one's ISP but retain the same account name, then it's impossible to remove ISP#1's data and use the same account name for ISP#2 without manually editing prefs.js. Have not observed this problem with other e-mail programs.

This also causes assertions in debug builds (Couldn't lazily create the server) when starting mailnews.
