User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:84.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/84.0

Steps to reproduce:

Bookmarked a webpage using the "Bookmark this page (CTRL+D)" star button

Actual results:

The web page was bookmarked, but every open tab also then had the star highlighted making it very difficult to then highlight any other pages. If I close Firefox and reopen, the issue is cleared until I book mark a page again.

Expected results:

That only a single page is highlighted as a bookmarked page.

Bugbug thinks this bug should belong to this component, but please revert this change in case of error.

Is this about the "New Bookmark" dialog itself? Or about the small star at the very end of the location bar?

Summary: Bookmark this page star issue → After bookmarking, all other open tabs have the star icon highlighted

Hi, sorry yes, it is about the small star at the very end of the location bar.

Could you attach a log from about:support.

Also could you please run Places Database Integrity Check from the about:support page and report its results?

Hopefully this is the log report, there is nothing on the about:support that mentions logs, only the ability to copy data to the clipboard.

Also, ff any help I also attach a screen shot of the issue, I bookmarked a web page earlier and now the webpage that I was using for Google also shows the star as marked, but it is not.

Also, sorry but cannot see the "Places Database Integrity Check" in the about:support page to be able to report its results. Where is it located please?

There is a Places Database section, with a Check Integrity button in it.

Did you have a chance to test integrity check now?

Could you please try temporarily disabling iCloud Bookmarks and Auto-Sort Bookmarks Add-ons and check if the problem persists. We cannot reproduce your issue and we suspect these add-ons managing bookmarks may be related to the problem.
