Details
When dragging some selected text or an image from a webpage and dropping it over an invalid target, an animation is supposed to fly the item back to the point the drag started.
However, in my case this animation targets the wrong point. It is always somewhere in the top-left quadrant of the window so I assume the coordinates should be scaled by the buffer scale but aren't.
Firefox Nightly
GNOME Shell 3.38.3
Wayland, 3840x2160, scale 2, no scale-monitor-framebuffer

Ah interesting. Yes that sounds like a scaling issue. The animation is handled in gtk - mind shortly checking if other gtk programs are affected as well and, if that's the case, open an issue at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gtk/-/issues and cc'ing me?

Indeed, this is a GTK issue.
