Affected Versions:
- All latest Firefox versions using force enable (Nightly 86, Beta RC 85.0, Release 84.0.2)
Tested on:
- MacOS 10.15
- Windows 10 x64
Prerequisites:
- browser.search.region UK
- extensions.formautofill.supportedCountries UK
- download latest Firefox Nightly with region locale (switch extensions.formautofill.available to "on" for testing non-Nightly builds)
Steps to Reproduce:
- Launch Firefox
- Go to and reach the payment form for argos.co.uk
- Using autofill feature, select 1 saved CC entry
- Try to select any month from the expiry month dropdown
Expected Results:
- All autofilled fields should be highlighted and autofilled
- The month field dropdown should be functional
Actual Results:
- The autofilled fields are not highlighted
- Expiry month field is not functional at all, recording: https://streamable.com/7ty64w
Notes:
- Severity: S3 severity, the expiry month dropdown should be fixed since it blocks the user to complete the payment form
- Reproducible on Chrome?: No
- Regression-range: reproducible on all latest versions, this site was never tested before, can look for regression-range if need be
EDIT: See Comment 2 for updates on the latest Nightly 96 version.

Not reproducible as of Firefox 93.0a1...unless the original bug was that the expiry date picker is not immediately available after filling in the other details. After filling in a credit card, I have to click in the form area which then allows me to use the date picker as well as the other fields that were previously disabled...not the greatest experience but I am still able to successfully submit payment details after entering the security code. A user would need to click into the field to access the security code field anyways.
The site is most likely expecting some event that we aren't sending when we fill in the cc info (probably "keyup" or "change") and this is causing their validation to wait even though we've entered information. I'm still need to pinpoint where that's happening, but that's the evidence I'm seeing so far.
Autofill works as expected on Chrome, slightly broken on Safari.

Hey Tim,
I can also confirm that this is no longer reproducible as I previously reported it.
On the latest Firefox Nightly 96.0a1 (2021-11-07) we do highlight the autofilled Cardholder Name and Credit Card number and the Epxiry Dates are indeed functional after the form is clicked again, this is some site behaviour that disables the form fields.
The only standing issues are the following:
- Expiry date dropdowns are not yellow highlighted upon autofill
- Expiry date dropdowns are not reset upon using the "Clear Form" option from the other input fields (CC number and Cardholder Name)
I'd rather not submit a new issue, but edit this one to reflect the current state.
