User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:84.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/84.0
Steps to reproduce:
I run Firefox in several windows for some days.
I close one of the windows.
Actual results:
Firefox becomes unresponsive and uses 100% of my SSD and about 50% CPU (according to Windows Task manager).
This goes on until I kill the firefox process.
Expected results:
Firefox window closes at once without destroying my SSD

Hi, Thank you for taking the time to log this issue but we need a little bit more information on it.
Does this issue occur with our latest Nighty build ? Can you please try with our latest build and see if the issue occurs with it as well, you can find it here : https://nightly.mozilla.org/
Also, can you please capture a performance profile when the issue occurs ? You can find the steps here :
(Please note that this addon only works with Firefox Nightly builds)
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Performance/Profiling_with_the_Built-in_Profiler
Hopefully this will help us get to the bottom of this issue.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Performance' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.
