Opening "Other Bookmarks" or extra bookmarks bar doesn't work on a second window on linux.

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Fedora; Linux x86_64; rv:84.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/84.0
Steps to reproduce:
Open two firefox windows on Fedora 33. (version 84.0.2, the most recent one available via dnf)
Actual results:
On the first window the "Other Bookmarks" folder in the bookmarks bar and the ">>" continuation of the bookmarks bar both open correctly, but on the second window neither of these open, and clicking on the icon just highlights the folder.
Expected results:
The second window should allow ">>" and "Other Bookmarks" to be opened.

I would if I had not changed to a different distro the other day both to try something else. I can describe it though: in the second window, clicking on the folder highlights it slightly, in the same way that it would in the first window when it shows the list below it, but it doesn't actually show said list. I think it might be related to other (GNOME related?) issues I had, such as not being able to copy and past from firefox to any other application. It might be related to the windows having been restored, as this issue occurred only after I had rebooted and restored firefox.

Due to an issue with my fedora system I cannot test any newer versions, and on my primary system I switched to using KDE plasma which doesn't have this issue. I'm sorry that I cannot help with this issue.
