CTRL-left clicking on links now opens the pages to the LEFT of the page i reside in, which is extremely confusing

Steps to reproduce:
Up to the previous versions , when i CTRL-left click on a link, the new page opens the link to the RIGHT of the link i was on, which is natural and logical.
In the new version it opens all links in new tabs to the LEFT of the tab Iam on and it is not logical and extremely confusing to work with.
Please revert back to the old so new tabs open to the RIGHT.
Actual results:

Expected results:
Tabs should open AFTER the tab you stand in not before.

Hello! Unfortunately I wasn't able to reproduce the issue with the description provided in the description on Windows 10 with firefox 85.0 and 87.0a1 (2021-02-01).
Could you please answer the following questions in order to investigate it further?
- Does this issue happen with a new profile? Here is a link on how to create a new profile: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-remove-switch-firefox-profiles
- Are you using add-ons? If so could you please list them?
- Does this issue occur in the latest nightly version of firefox? Here is a link from where you can download it: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/channel/desktop/

If this was an intended feature, i hope you can put an option to revert back to the old style which always place tabs last nomatter where you stand on the tabs, or it will be chaos.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Tabbed Browser' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

Hello! I have manged to reproduce the issue provided in the video with fx 84.0.1, 84.0 and 90.0a1 (2021-04-22) on all OS's. I will mark this as New in order to get our developers involved.
Indeed Google Chrome does behave differently from firefox but on our part this is intended behavior. In order to confir this I've also tested with firefox 61.0 and 70 and it's the same behaviour.
