using today's win2k trunk build, classic skin.

possible incarnation of http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=110306.
However I'm only seeing this in mail compose (editor/composer isn't coloring the
link, though it is underlining it).

when composing a new mail, href'd text doesn't get underlined or colored (blue).

steps to repro:
1. compose new mail message.
2. type something.
3. select it.
4. give selection a hyperlink (ctrl-l).
5. notice that you can't visually tell whether or not the text exists.

I'm using XP and I don't see links in composer either.

Here are 2 ways I can reproduce this:

1.  Go to a web page and do Send Link.  The link isn't underlined in the mail
window.
2.  Go to a web page and do Edit Page.  The link isn't underlined in composer.

reassigning to composer component.

This should have been fixed by checkin to bug 168576. 
I tested mail Composer before checking that in and it works -- I can't 
reproduce this in my debug build, but it's a couple of days old.
There's some other recent problems that might have an effect (e.g., bug 169140).
I'll take this.

I'm using today's 9/17 trunk build and it seems to work for me in
composer:

1) launch netscape
2) launch composer
3) enter some text
4) hilite the text(ctrl-A)
5) make it a link(ctril-L)
6) click OK on the link properties panel

now the text is highlited still....click somewhere in the
document to release the focus. Notice the blue underlined
link...looks ok..

Maybe charley's fix appears in today's 9/17 build.

Can someone confirm this using Mail composer using 9/17 build ? thanks.

using the 9/17 build this works in both of the cases I described.  Was this a
dup of 168576?
