User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:84.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/84.0
Steps to reproduce:
This is not a bug, but a feature request. Googling about how to make a feature request brought me here.
My request is simple, it'd be really nice to be able to add a blank space along the top of the browser that has no purpose other than allowing RDP sessions to be pinned at the top without covering what tabs I have open.
I frequently have to use web client access for things over RDP sessions, sometimes nested RDP sessions. Being able to see how deep I am at the top without covering what tabs I have open would make browsing/remote work a lot easier.

Hello! Thank you for the contribution I will add a component to this issue in order to get the developers involved. If is not the right component please feel free to change it to an appropriate one

It's complicate for firefox to properly detect if it's in an RDP session. There are workarounds like dragging/resizing the window.
Maybe an enh request could be filed to the RDP client to do that if their toolbox is what is covering the tabs.
Could you please post a screenshot so we can better evaluate the problem?

Yeah, resizing/dragging is the closest thing we have right now I think. First screenshot shows the overlap, second shows the desired blank space.
For the use case though, most people would be remoting into the machines and running FF in the same manner, so detecting whether it's in an RDP session isn't needed really, just an option/checkbox that puts that blank space at the top to get rid of the overlap. Almost better if it was a universal setting in this case so the first person sets it and everyone else can forget it.

You can Customize on the toolbars and then check the Show Titlebar option at the bottom of the customize screen, that will add the old title bar above tabs that is likely a sufficient workaround for your needs.
I don't think we'd add a more specific option for this case, since it would not be so common, and there are workaround.
If there's enough issues like this with software, the RDP client implementer should move those menus out of the view. I'd thus report the feedback to them, hopelly they can do better with those menus than covering part of content.
