User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.2a) Gecko/20020915 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.2a) Gecko/20020915 I filed a bug report yesterday regarding a problem with Mozilla and the inability to open new windows after startup. This problem extends MUCH FURTHER THAN THAT! Not only can I not open new Windows any more - now all of my Mozilla prefs have been corrupted. This distresses me a GREAT DEAL!!!!!!!!!! I have tried deleting pref, deleting apps, creating a new Profile and still - Mozilla (pre 1.2) is unusable. I know you always recommend creating a new profile - I DO NOT SEE THIS AS A VIABLE OPTION! For Mozilla to move into the mainstream - something will have to be done to prevent the corruption of the user profile and the need to recreate a new profile every two weeks. This is UNACCEPTABLE! Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Launch Mozilla - never starts - if it does start the menus and btns are all mucked up. 2. 3.
Can you please attach a screenshot (use the "create new attachment link") >For Mozilla to move into the mainstream Mozilla is not for End-User. Mozilla.org provides binary nuilds only for testing.
I had very similar problems through two or three installations (see Bug Report 168603). Finally resolved by removing the Sky Pilot skin I was using. Apparently a bunch of the skins for 1.0 haven’t been updated. Don’t know if this is the problem you’re having.
WorksForMe using FizzillaCFM/2002091708 on 10.1.5. C. Posey, I heartily recommend you stick to the official releases and avoid the nightly builds completely. It sounds like it distresses you too much.
C. Posey, can you still reproduce this problem using the most recent release, 1.3b?
