Details

  1. Navigate to https://html.spec.whatwg.org/.
  2. View source.
  3. Search for "data-x" or some such.
  4. Go do something else in other tabs.

Expected results: view source tab does not steal focus.

Actual results: view source tab steals focus.

I can't reproduce this bug on Nightly 95. If you can still reproduce it, could you please attach a screen recording of it happening?

I think this is probably a duplicate of bug 1659383. Though I'm not a 100% sure.

To be clear, I haven't seen it happen recently.
