User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:84.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/84.0
Steps to reproduce:
Tried to send a URL from the clipboard into a new tab on another device - usually copied from another application.
Actual results:
No functionality exists to "paste and send".
I can either:
- Paste & Go, to visit the page and then try to send the tab (this doesn't work if the site redirects to a generic page because of the device I'm on)
- Send a link that's in an existing page (I can't paste a custom one)
Expected results:
As well as being able to "Paste & Go", I would like to be able to paste-and-send-to-other-device (using Firefox Sync).
I sometimes need this e.g. to open a link on my PC that's in chat on my phone, where the site will redirect to a generic page when it detects mobile, or that I'm not logged in. It's a weird edge-case I only sometimes need, but it would be super convenient and I suspect would use mostly existing code.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Sync' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

Hi,
Thank you for your suggestion. This could be a good enhancement, hopefully it will be taken into consideration in the future.
Regards,
Jerónimo.
