Adding Google calendars through the CalDAV auto-config sets colours as 8-hex-character strings (ie. #123456FF) but the colour picker can only handle 6-hex-character strings. The alpha components are pointless anyway (probably always FF and if not, should be), so I'm going to strip them.

When assigning colours to a calendar, strip the alpha component. r=mkmelin
