The original decision was to just flat out remove the keyboard shortcut display. This was done in bug 1689378. Then bug 1692522 was filed to bring back the keyboard shortcut display.

UX and Product thought about how to keep the keyboard shortcut display around, and decided on adding a tooltip to the header for "Recently Closed Tabs/Windows". dao noted in bug 1692522 comment 4 that this affordance seems a bit odd because the headers aren't interactive, which doesn't invite much mouse hovering.

While we hash this out, I've re-landed the old shortcut display in bug 1692522.

Note that Chrome displays the shortcut just like we used to.

Thanks, Mike. That's fine to revert to what we had previously. I still think it's a bit confusing but if new users are used to seeing it presented that way via Chrome, it is probably fine.

Okay, thanks Meridel. Sounds like we're going to keep doing what we've always done here, so nothing to do.
