User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.2a) Gecko/20020910 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.2a) Gecko/20020910 I ran out of disk quota on an AFS system in the midst of installing the java plugin. I get the somewhat misleading error message "Access denied" in the Software Installation dialog. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install mozilla on a system enforcing disk quotas 2. Leave only about 10 MB left 3. Try to install the JRE xpi Actual Results: The software installation dialog reports "Access Denied" Expected Results: The dialog should report "out of disk space" or "cannot write to disk".
Shrir: can you please verify this one? Serge: any ideas?

I'm getting "Out of space" message w/ mozilla 2002092408, tested rh7.2 & w2k
I am still getting "Access denied" on 2002092511 on RH 7.2 with AFS (Andrew File System) enforcing the quotas.
I mean RH 7.3, not 7.2. Not that it matters.
Reporter can you reproduce this bug with a newer build (1.4 final)? If not, then please close this bug as worksforme. Thanks.
There is no longer a (recent) Java XPI plugin (for linux), so this bug no longer matters.
