User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:87.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/87.0

Steps to reproduce:

I was watching a movie in Netflix. When suddenly Firefox vanishes. No crash reporter show up. When Firefox restarts the movie restart where we left when Firefox crashed.

Actual results:

Firefox vanished - no crash reporter showed up.

Expected results:

Nothing I would have loved to see my movie until the end

I have attached what are, I believe the crash as seen by MacOS.

This is the crash I talked about in #stability today.

The attachments only contain stacks for the power consumption measurements but not crashes. Aren't there any other crash reports among macOS' diagnostics?

Hey Ludovic,
I tried reproducing this issue on the latest versions of Firefox Nightly 88.0a1 (2021-02-25), beta 87.0b3 and release 86.0 but there were no crashes for me and the site was working normally.

Can you test the issue while in Safe Mode? You can find helpful info here : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode .
Also a fresh new profile could help. You can find more about creating a new profile here : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-and-diagnose-firefox-problems#w_6-create-a-new-firefox-profile .
If possible, you can test this issue on the nightly build as well. Download the build from : https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/nightly/all/ .

They all had the same name. I'll cleanup all of these. When she re-crashes I'll look again.(In reply to Andrei Purice from comment #5)

It's usually after a few hours of watching. I haven't tried safe mode will do.

So no crash reports but I saw this in the logs last time it crashed.

Feb 28 15:21:29 Zolzayas-MacBook-Air com.apple.xpc.launchd[1] (org.mozilla.firefox.16704[18072]): Service exited due to SIGTERM | sent by p[22304]

of course 22304 wasn't running when I ps 'ed it. If I can't get more information for you guys to debug. Let's close this.
