Details

(from my dad) Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.0.1) Gecko/20020823 Netscape/7.0 A. He did a full install - after bug 169460, we found at that 113% wasn't enough. B. It seems that Java failed a crc check and therefore in addition to the 32mb we had already downloaded, we needed another 11mb to get java *again*. I'm going to file a few bugs based on this. Issues: 2. If an *optional* component fails there should be an option to /skip/ it.
what is this bug about????? Mozilla does not include java. Bugs about Netscape 7 should be filed at netscape.com
Henrik, this bug is about "2. If an *optional* component fails there should be an option to /skip/ it."
Maybe a summary change will make things clearer. Old summary: Netscape 7.0 Installer "Some files have failed the CRC check and are being downloaded again."... New summary: Installer should ask whether to retry download of optional components if the download fails
Summary: Netscape 7.0 Installer "Some files have failed the CRC check and are being downloaded again."... → Installer should ask whether to retry download of optional components if the download fails
