User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:88.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/88.0
Steps to reproduce:
Hi,
Since about 5 days, whenever I start Daily, my View settings about calendar are reset:
- In View menu, Today, uncheck the box to see it
- In the calendar, open View menu, Calendar, Calendar panel, and uncheck the box to show it in order it is not displayed
- In the event list, choose to sort from the starting date.
Actual results:
These setings are reset at each Thunderbird restart.
Expected results:
The settings should remain persistent between each restart of the application.

I forgot a point: if you set "Display the current view", at restart, the view is back to "View the 7 next days". Still a thing which should be persistent, as it was before.

I have the same problem as the bug reporter.
The problem started to occur here when my Ubuntu installation updated Thunderbird from 68 to 78 on 2021-02-19.
- Thunderbird 78.8.0+build1-0ubuntu0.18.04.1~mt1
- Ubuntu 18.04
- Addons:
-- *cloud - filelink for nextcloud and owncloud
-- Cardbook
-- Display Mail User Agent
-- Message Header Toolbar Customize
-- TbSync
-- TbSync provider for CalDAV and CardDAV
-- Sieve

Jean-Philippe, can you still reproduce with Thunderbird 91?
Unfortunately yes. Same behavior on all the daily releases since the bug report.

Jean-Philippe, do toolbar customizations survive a restart? Does this also happen for Mail related settings/toolbar customizations?

It does not happen for mails. ANd not for toolbars, ie. if I disable the filter bar, it does not re-appear at startup time. Do you want me to test all the bars?
Another info: while toolbars seem to stay, if I disable the "Today" panel (panel where are displayed the events for today or tomorrow), it is back at the next startup. It does not stay hidden.
Regards
