Thanks for reporting this. Unfortunately this report is not very useful because it does not describe the problem well. If you have time and can still reproduce the situation or problem, please read https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/QA/Bug_writing_guidelines and add a more useful description to this report, including a clear list of actual steps to reproduce.

NOT reproducible with installation of unofficial (by wg9s) De SeaMonkey 2.53.8 beta 1 pre Mozilla/5.0 (NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:60.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/60.0 Build 20210227220003 (My default User Profile, Default Classic Theme) on German WIN7 64bit.
Did did a small sample and the results seem to show that the search result shows the hits for an AND-linked search of the strings separated by the links. Search sees Name and Email address as a "complete cell", if one search string matches with name and other on with email address the contact will be shown as a search hit.
So WFM for now.
Please feel free to repoen if you find indication that we have a real bug here
But I think that indeed (at least the German) help text should be more precise.
@Reporter:
Bitte Beschreibungen verfassen, die das Problem eindeutig reproduzierbar machen. Nicht "irgendwas haut da nicht hin".

5 months later in the meantim 2.53.8.1 nothing works, no Taskmenue to export Addressbook! Even the "wonderful" workaround works!

Please do carefully read and follow the previous comments in this ticket. As long as you do not provide more information, nobody else can reproduce a problem, so nobody can fix a problem. Thanks.
