Currently, most of the implementation of using HTTPS RR as alt-svc is done in nsHttpTransaction. It'd be better if we could move this implementation to DnsAndConnectSocket for the following reasons.

  • Having DNS related code in one place.
  • No need to deal with restarting a transaction.
