Steps to reproduce:
I send two different ical files with the command
cat <filename>| mailx -s "invitation" -a "Content-Type: text/calendar; charset="utf-8"; method=REQUEST" john.doe@example.com
to my email address.
The file calendar-notok.ics includes the field:
DESCRIPTION;LANGUAGE=de-DE:/a</a/?@.>
an the file calendar-ok.ics includes the field:
DESCRIPTION;LANGUAGE=de-DE:/a</a/?@->
Actual results:
The calendar invitation with file calendar-notok.ics is not visible in thunderbird and the email is always show as unread. The second file where character change from '.' to '-' is visible without any error.
Expected results:
The invitation with calendar-notok.ics should be visible an the email should be marked as read.
