Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.0.1) Gecko/20020823 Netscape/7.0
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.0.1) Gecko/20020823 Netscape/7.0

In Netscape 7.0, the easiest way to test this is to open up a site with a ton of
links and go down each one, one at a time, opening each link as a new tab. Soon,
the tab bar will fill, then compress down so that it shows only the icon of a
bookmark (or of the page) and then when it can compress no further, begins to
stretch the address bar and everything to the right of it (including the close
tab x box) beyond the boundries of the window that it is supposed to be
contained in. Also, the tabs themselves keep tiling to the right as well off
into the virtual window space mentioned above.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. find page with tons of links
2. open each link by right clicking and picking "Open Link in New Tab"
3. after twenty or thirty links, the problem should be apparent.

Actual Results:
there wasn't enough room to list all the tabs and the interface stretched off
into infinity beyond the windows borders.

Expected Results:
It should have had little arrows on the far right hand side to click on and
scroll back and forth to reach those tabs lost beyond the boundry of the window.
Also, the interface should have remained static (as in, not stretch along with
it) and the close tab x box should have remained in place so those who don't
know to look in the menu (or right click on the tab to close it) will still be
able to easily close it.
