The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Session Restore' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

Hi Daviswill, Can you please tell us which pref did you enable in Release or Beta that would cause the Restore previous session button to dissapear ? We only enabled this pref "browser.proton.enabled" but we still see that "Restore Previous Session" button on our side.
It is intended for it to not be displayed in Nightly 88 but that button should still be displayed in Beta or Release 86.

I do not know why it isn't showing up in the release, but on nightly the preference that controls it is browser.proton.enabled

It seems that this issue is already tracked here: Bug 1692176 but it will only be displayed if there is a session to be restored.
