Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:86.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/86.0

Steps to reproduce:

I am listening to an audio stream.

https://www.arteradio.com/son/61665785/patrice_leconte_drole_de_cineaste

click on "écouter"

Actual results:

After 5 mn monitor is switched off by kde energy saving feature thus the inbuilt speakers.

It seems that FF does not inhibit screen energy saving feature or screen lock for audio.

Expected results:

As for video viewing, monitor is not switched off.

openSuse leap 15.2

Kde apps 2012.3
plasma 5.21.2
frameworks 5.79.0
qt 5.15.2

Component: Untriaged → Audio/Video
Product: Firefox → Core

I am not sure it is a FF problem.

I sent bug reports to kde.

about playing audio-streaming
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=434012

about playing video streaming or local video
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=432792

Reporter said it also happens in other players. It seems more like a KDE issue. Mark it as INVALID (Not our bug) for now.
