User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:86.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/86.0
Steps to reproduce:
On my very simple webpage (http://stemme.eu) I use a coluored background and positioned menu elements at the bottom.
However, only on Firefox and only when I choose the browser navbar to be at the top I experience strange things: When tapping on the background the page gets cut and a white bar appears at the bottom. When I scoll (for example by selecting an entry with text) this effect disappears and the page shows up in full size again.
Actual results:
Choose navigation top for the browser
goto http://stemme.eu
tap on background, maybe twice
page is cut; white bar appears at the bottom
select "Informatik"
select "Termine")
scroll
page displayed in full size again
My css might look a bit untidy ... I tried many things to fix this issue;
However I am pretty sure that there must be a connection to the possibility to move the navbar top or bottom; on a similar page (https://the-sinnsucherin.com)
I experienced the same problem, starting roughly in October; I am currently not sure when this new feature to switch the navbar was released and apologize for any inconvenience if the problem is related to my incomplete knowledge of css stuff.
Anyway I would be very grateful for any hint.
Expected results:
No white bar

In general issues should be reported to https://github.com/mozilla-mobile/fenix/issues/ though this looks to be a platform issue so moving to the GV team to triage.

Hi Anja,
Can you reproduce this in Firefox Nightly? We think we have solved this issue with recent patches and it would be great if you could confirm that this.

Hi Emily,
thank you so much!!! I just tested it with Firefox Nightly and I am so happy to confirm: Everything works as expected. The bug left :-)
Thanks again!!!
