Steps to reproduce:

Place "Show Your Bookmarks" button to Navbar
Click on In
Observe PopUp position

Actual results:

PopUp is shifted to the Left from the button

Expected results:

PopUp should be positioned next to the original button

Hey Serge,
I can't reproduce this issue on the latest versions of Firefox Nightly 88.0a1 (2021-03-17), beta 87.0 or release 86.0.1. Tried adding a lot of buttons but the pop-up menu is alligned and under the bookmark icon. And I checked other icons as well and they're fine.

Can you test the issue while in Safe Mode? You can find helpful info here : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode .
Also a fresh new profile could help. You can find more about creating a new profile here : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-and-diagnose-firefox-problems#w_6-create-a-new-firefox-profile .
If possible, you can test this issue on the nightly build as well. Download the build from : https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/nightly/all/ .

Hi Andrei,
I have tried to make a new profile and test it.
Seems like the issue is related to browser.proton.contextmenus.enabled > True
Once I set it to True the issue occurs.

Here list the full set of Proton-related Prefs that I have set to True.

browser.proton.appmenu.enabled
browser.proton.contextmenus.enabled
browser.proton.enabled
browser.proton.tabs.enabled
browser.proton.toolbar.enabled
browser.proton.urlbar.enabled

I cannot reproduce this issue anymore (I know there has been work on pan,el anchoring so assuming it solved this problem), please confirm if you still can otherwise resolve the bug?
