Detail:
Lets say I am watching one video on YouTube and now that video is over. So, I go to the YouTube home page. I am using Bluetooth audio device (boAt Airdopes 441) which have play and pause functions.
Now, the issue is, when I am on home page of YouTube and if I press Play/ Pause button, it will start playing last video on home page. I can hear voice that video is being played but can't see it because I am on home page.

FireFox version: 86.0.1 (64-bit)
OS: Win10 Pro Version 10.0.19041 Build 19041

Flags: sec-bounty?

This seems annoying, but it does not sound like a security issue to me.

Apologies @Andrew, however this was the first time I reported the issue so was not able to find appropriate category to for this issue.

Flags: sec-bounty? → sec-bounty-

This, also, affects the multimedia buttons.

STR:

  1. Open a youtube video page.
  2. Click the YouTube link at the top of the page.
  3. Press the play/pause key of your keyboard.

At step 3, although the user is on youtube's main page without a video playing, the sound of the video of the previous page starts playing. I'm assuming it's the same underlying issue, so I won't file a new bug about it.

Is this ever going to be fixed?

Still an issue
