Details
We have various unsolved bugs that have come up over the years related to DoS attacks that we can't really resolve without it devolving into a game of whack-a-mole. Once Fission (bug 1451850) has shipped, we could implement monitoring of the content processes and put up an "Unresponsive pages" prompt to allow the user to kill all the pages in the content process.
