The URL bar get's a weird graphical glitch if the Firefox window is very wide (2700px+) and the URL is very long. This appears to be a regression of bug 1696301. I encountered this on OS X 10.15.7
STR:
- Open Firefox Nightly with a wide window
- visit a long URL, like this one
- observe the URL bar
ER: text should be visible
AR: text as a graphical glitch (please see screenshot)

I am unable to reproduce this on a retina mac, or on a linux machine running at 4k. Jeff, Markus, are you able to repro on mac?

Fwiw, I can reproduce on 88 as well, but not on 89.
Martin, could you check to see if you can reproduce on 89?

I can confirm that this seems to be fixed as of April 9.

Ryan, it looks like we a have a couple Mac users reporting this in the wild with WR (bug 1707322 as well). However, given that we already pushed 88 to release, is it worth uplifting bug 1682195 to fix this at all or we just wait for 89?

I'm inclined to wontfix. The patch fixing the problem caused a number of new regressions itself and has limited Beta testing time.
