When I click on a column to read, I get the message "Redirection limit for this
url exceeded. Unable to load the requested page". Nothing I do will allow me to
read a column.
Also: http://ancestry.com/
When I try to go to this bookmarked site, I get the message:
"Redirection limit for this url exceeded. Unable to load the requested page".
Sometimes, I can go to preferences and clear the cache and this will correct the
problem, at least for this site.
Sometimes, while on a site that requires me to go to several screens, I will get
the redirection message and can go no further, so must log off.
Note: Enable all cookies is marked in prefs, but restricted to the liftime of
the current session. I have tried several ways and nothing seems to matter.

According to bug 164236, it might be bug 114709, which was fixed a long time
ago. What version are you using (see Help | About Mozilla) ?
Or, you might be blocking NYTimes cookies, in which case you get an endless
redirection (but that's a fault in the NYTimes webserver). Check if the NYtimes
server isn't listed in the cookie manager (cookie sites tab).
any relation to bug 117150 ? (Loading URL fails with error message "Redirection
limit for this URL exceeded. Loading aborted.") This bug was traced down to
buggy code on the site
I am also experiencing this issue. I only see it when visiting
http://www.mycomicspage.com . In emails with the webmaster for the site,
they're able to access it with Mozilla for Mac OS 9 and other browsers, but has
not been able to test the site with Mozilla for Mac OS X because of "problems on
the Mac."
I have cleared out the disk cache, RAM cache, and deleted any cookies for the
URLs .uclick.com and .mycomicspage.com and I still get the error.

I'm also getting this error in Mac OS 10.2.2. It popped-up in build 20021123xx.
(Sorry, can't remember the exact build, but it was on that date.) It happens
when I try to go to www.teoma.com and an internal Apple site. (Sorry again, I
can't post the URL.)

everyone: please make sure you do not have an restrictive cookie settings that
might prevent pages from loading correctly. see bug 153888 for more details.
Clearing out all my cookies seems have to resolved the issue for the site I
reported. Thanks for the info.
