User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:87.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/87.0
Steps to reproduce:
- Go to the Add-On browser https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/extensions/
- Navigate to an Add-On which requires access to 5 different websites
- Click the 'Add to Firefox' button
Actual results:
Firefox prompts for confirmation informing that:
It requires your permission to:
- Access your data for a.example.com
- Access your data for b.example.com
- Access your data for c.example.com
- Access your data on 2 other sites
A 'Learn more about permissions' link is shown which directs the user to https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/permission-request-messages-firefox-extensions
Expected results:
For the given example, the prompt does not show any option to view which sites are categorized as 'Access your data on 2 other sites'.
This lack of information limits the user's ability to assess the impact.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'WebExtensions::Untriaged' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

This info is available in about:addons after you install it, or on AMO before, does that not cover your use case?
